SINOPSIS (ENG)
Eight-year-old Juan lives with his grandparents in Calarcá, Quindío. When his grandfather Pepino gives him some colorful chicks, he enthusiastically takes on the task of caring for them. However, as the little birds depend on him, his grandfather's strong and protective figure begins to fade, eroded by alcohol. In this contrast between care and helplessness, Juan confronts for the first time the fragility of someone who seemed invincible.

Juan, de 8 años, vive con sus abuelos en Calarcá, Quindío. Cuando su abuelo Pepino le regala unos pollitos de colores, asume con entusiasmo la tarea de cuidarlos. Sin embargo, mientras las pequeñas aves dependen de sus manos, la figura fuerte y protectora de su abuelo comienza a desdibujarse, atravesada por el alcohol.
